My journal

"The future's already here. It's just not evenly distributed."
William Gibson

If you look around today, sometimes you can find the future. Not in the sense of having it all laid out in front of you, but rather if you pay attention to what's going on around you, you can see things that will come to dominate the landscape.

And that is what a futurist does. Or, rather what they're supposed to do. If they're any good, they pay attention to what's going on around them, looking for patterns and anomalies and through some sort of training or imagination, make observations and opinions about the question, "where do we go from here?"

This is not a daily journal. This is an occasional thing to provide links, comments and stuff that may help you think about the future. If you have suggestions of your own, please let me know.
